Though The Sims 4 should run on your Mac just fine. Though do not take my word for it 100%. I have never owned a Mac in my life, nor do I have any intentions of owning one. If problems occur, in the future, I suggest investing in a Windows operating system.

Hi many games are based on microsoft hardware and software that is the real issue.

Playing games on a mac/macbook is generally a bad idea…
the hardware is old or under-powered unless you have a super expensive mac/macbook and even then it has a very limited selection of games.
the one you are wanting to get would struggle to play the game at min settings.

Keep in mind, minimum requirements will not run well…
